Armed Forces Memorial Logan County

This memorial commemorates the residents of Logan County who served in the American armed forces.

This cannon (6-Pounder model 1842) is used in the war with Mexico in 1846. In 1861, it was re-bored and rifled to use 3.8 inch James or Hotchkiss shells, indicating Civil War use.
