American War Graves Evergreen Cemetery

Evergreen Cemetery contains, in the Confederate Circle, about 2000 graves of mostly unidentified Confederate soldiers who were killed in the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Evergreen Cemetery also contains the grave of the following person, who fought for the United States of America and who gave his life in the war in Afghanistan and/or Operation Enduring Freedom:

1 October 2009 , Specialist Russell S. Hercules Jr., aged 22
