War Memorial Sherrill Park Corpus Christi

This park is named after Warren Joseph Sherrill, who was the first resident from Corpus Christi who was killed in World War II, on the Battleship Arizona on 7 December 1941.

This memorial park commemorates:

- The servicemen who were resident of Corpus Christi, who were killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, on 7 December 1941.
- American POW's. Text on the memorial: "In Memory of American Prisoners of War"
- Benjamin Birmingham, who was killed on 6 June 1918.
- The residents of Corpus Christi who were killed or missing in the Korean War (1950-1953).
- The residents of Corpus Christi who were killed or missing in the Vietnam War.
