German War Cemetery Dukhovshchina

The German War Cemetery Dukhovshchina is situated close to the village of Dukhovshchina, a small town which was occupied by German forces on July 15th, 1941 and liberated by Soviet Forces on September 19th, 1943.

The cemetery is the last major cemetery that was created by the German Volksbund and is in use since 2010. The cemetery can receive at least 70.000 graves and by 2016 already 54.0000 German victims were reburied here.
