Reunited Soldiery Monument

This memorial in the Pea Ridge National Military Park was erected in 1889 in dedication of the Battle of Pea Ridge.
The Battle of Pea Ridge took place on 7 and 8 March 1862. The battle resulted in a Union victory. In the battle, the Union lost almost 1,400 men (killed, wounded, missing or captured), the Confederates about 2000 men (including the Generals Ben McCulloch, James McIntosh and William Y. Slack who were killed).
