Hall of Valor Museum

The Hall of Valor Museum, also known as the Virginia Museum of the Civil War, is dedicated to the Battle of New Market and the Civil War in general. It also served as the New Market State Battlefield Visitor Center.
The Battle of New Market took place on 15 May 1864. The battle resulted in a Confederate victory. In the battle, the Union lost 841 men (killed, wounded, missing or captured), the Confederates 520 men.
