Union Earthworks Bentonville

This Union earthworks, constructed on 19 March 1865, was involved in the Battle of Bentonville.
The Battle of Bentonville took place from 19 to 21 March 1865 and was the last large offensive of the Confedererates. The battle resulted in a Union victory. On the Union side, 194 men were killed, 1,112 wounded and 221 missing/captured. On the Confederate side, 239 men were killed, 1,694 wounded and 673 missing/captured.
