Memorial Black Powder Explosion Eisenach
This fountain (Black Fountain / Schwarze Brunnen) and plaque commemorate the explosion, on this location, of a French lorry which was loaded with blak powder, on 1 September 1810. In the explosion, 14 houses were destroyed and 70 people were killed.
