Cherokee Strip Museum

This museum, dedicated to the history of the whole region, includes an exhibition about the prisoner-of-war camp in Alva during the Second World War, with about 5000 prisoners. On display are artefacts from the camp, inclusing a remarkable sculpture of an eagle that was hand carved by German POWs.
