Heart Mountain Relocation Camp

Heart Mountain Relocation Camp was an internment camp for Americans of japanese ancestry who were brought here mainly from Los Angeles. The camp had a peak population of about 11,100 people.

Some buildings are left from the camp. There is also a memorial for the men from this camp who fought as soldiers at the European front. The remains are also listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
