Belgian War Graves Iddergem

On the cemetery of Iddergem are the graves of military victims of the Second World War.

VAN BOSSUYT Frans: soldier 1st Battalion 1st Company 7th Hunters on Foot.
Died on 27 May 1940 on a barely developed position between Strobrugge - Maldegem and Maldegem Kleit

LANCKMANS Livinus: soldier 39th Line 2nd Battalion 7th Company.
Killed in action on May 19, 1940 in Burst in a very curious location for troops.

VAN RAMPELBERGH Omer: soldier 1st Grenadiers 3rd Battalion 10th Company.
Died on 27 May 1940 in Rumbeke in a last hopeless resistance position near the castle.

VYVERMAN Gustaaf: Guardsman 1st class at the Gendarmerie - member of the secret investigation service. On December 9, 1944 he was killed by the impact of a V-bomb in Antwerp.
