Execution Location Volokolamsk

The place of the execution and burial of eight partisans (guerillas), five of them were Muscovites. They were executed in the end of 1941.

Previously, there stood another monument, with the trees on which the partisans were hung. But later the trees were cut down, the remains of partisans were reburied in a mass grave on Sobornaya Street and a new monument was built.
