Memorial Complex Zubtsov

This memorial complex is dedicated to the 1st Rzjev-Sychevsky offensive, which took place between 30 July 1942 and 1 October 1942 in the vinicity. The losses on both sides were extremely high, especially on Soviet side (51.482 KIA). The Germans lost 7.436 soldiers.

There are about 15.000 Soviet soldiers buried in mass graves at the site of the memorial complex.
