Watch House (Brake) Battery
Originally armed with 3 64-pound RML (rifled muzzle-loading) guns, in 1901 it was re-armed with 2 6-inch breech-loading guns. It was used as a coastal defence battery until 1956. The buildings remain in good condition and are used as holiday accommodation for a school.
