Shipwreck S.S. Oria
The Norwegian ship S.S. Oria sank during a storm on 12 February 1944, causing the death of some 4,000 Italian prisoners of war. A Greek, 21 Italians and six Germans were rescued. The wreck was discovered in 1999.
