Memorial Dutch Victims of Former Working Camp Wernigerode

Working Camp Wernigerode was in April 1941 a work camp for foreign forced laborers. From March 1943, it was transformed into a sub camp of the Buchenwald concentration camp. There were about 800 prisoners from eight different nationalities in this camp.

In the camp there is a Memorial for the Dutch victims.
