Memorial Trees Saanich

Along Shelbourne Street is a row of London Plane trees planted in memory of Victoria area soldiers who fell in World War 1. In 1921 the cities of Victoria and Saanich planted 600 trees. Approximately 200 remained in 2018. A memorial plaque is located among the trees at the corner of Shelbourne Street and Elnido Road in Saanich British Columbia.
