War Memorial Novi Han

This war memorial commemorates the residents of Novi Han who were killed in the Second World War, as partisan and member of the resistance from 1941 to 1944, or as soldier in the battle against Germany.

From 1941 to 1944, Bulgaria was one of the Axis-countries and had occupied parts of Greece and Servia. Soldiers who were killed in these years are not mentioned on memorials. From 28 October 1944 to the end of the war, Bulgaria was one of the allied countries which fought against Germany.
