Boer War Memorial St. John the Evangelist Church

This memorial within the St. John the Evangelist Church commemorates the members of the parish who gave their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).

Other plaques are dedicated to:

The former pupils of St. Ninians School (including Captain D.R. Younger VC) who gave their lives in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).

Captain D. Reginald Younger V.C., who gave his life on 11 July 1900 at Krugersdorp in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
