Memorials Llandaff Cathedral

These plaques are dedicated to:

The soldiers of the 1st Bttn. The Welsh Regiment who gave their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).

The killed soldiers of the 41st (Welch) Regiment in a number of conflicts in the 19th Century including the War of 1812. It also commemorates Captain David Alexander Napier Lomax who was killed in action in South Africa on 10 March 1900, in the South-African War (Anglo-Boer War).

2nd Lieutenant Edward Llewellyn Lewis, who gave his life on 14 April 1901 in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
