War Memorial Salzmünde

This monument was raised in 1920 and does not only commemorate the fallen of the First World War but also the most important inhabitant of Salzmünde (Johann Gottfried Boltze) and (nowdays) also the Fallen of the Second World War.

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.
