Battery Kirby Beach

Battery Kirby Beach was a part of Fort Baker, part of the harbor defense of San Francisco and was built in 1942. The battery became operational until 1944, when it was deactivated. It contains 3" guns against motor torpedo boats (MTBs).

Nowadays the battery is open to the public, but there are just little remains.
