Battery Spencer

Battery Spencer was a part of Fort Baker, part of the harbor defense of San Francisco and was built in 1905. The battery became operational until 1943, when it was deactivated.

Nowadays the battery is open to the public. From this location there is a fantastic view on the Golden Gate Bridge.
