Battery 234

Battery 234 was a part of Fort Pickens, part of the harbor defense of Pensacola and was built in 1944. The battery was never armed. In 1976, the battery was reconstructed with two original 6" guns from Fort John Custis and a fire control tower.

Nowadays the battery is open to the public.
