Memorial Finnish Prisoners-of-War in the Crimean War

This memorial in the churchyard is erected in 1877 at behest of Tsar Alexander II in memory of Finnish soldiers of the Russian Army during the Crimean War (1853-1856) who died as prisoners of war in Lewes.
