Reconstructed Graves French Airmen

This location in the destroyed village Nauroy (Village Détruit) was the burial place of two French airmen, François Lefebre en Jacques Comte Decazes, who were killed in action on 15 March 1916. In 2017, their graves were reconstructed.
The friends of Nauroy have carried out many restoration works around the village of Detruit including this Cenothape. The airmen were buried by the Germans in the village and were exhumed in December 1920 and reburied in Paris and Gironde.
