Memorial Stone Danish Resistance Fighters

This memorial stone commemorates the Danish resistance fighters Lucjan Maslocha and Anna Louise Mogensen who were killed by the Gestapo in Copenhagen on 3 January 1945.

At the request of surviving Polish and Danish resistance fighters, Christina Viollier Mogensen unveiled this memorial plaque (and made a speech) in 1979 at the Polish Soldier's Sanctuarium in Lodz. She is the niece of Lucjan Maslocha and Anna Louise Mogensen. On the plaque, the line under "In Memoriam" is in Danish and reads "For the Freedom of Denmark and the Honour of Poland" - the same text as on Lucjan's grave in Copenhagen.
