Belgian War Graves Bassilly

The churchyard of Bassilly contains the graves of three fallen and two resistance fighters of the Second World War. It concerns BOSSAERT Jérome, fallen in 1940, LELEUX Jules, fallen in 1940, FERIN Noël, died in 1945, ROOBAERT Gaston, died at Münster (Germany) on 21 November 1943 and HUYS Camille, executed at Dortmund (Germany) on 2 Juni 1943.

In front of the war memorial are the graves of fallen of the First World War: ABSIL Alexandre, died at Sulingen (Germany) on 19 June 1917; DUCAU Marcelin, fallen at Brielen on 13 September 1918 and DUCAU Emile fallen at Eppegem on 26 August 1914.
