Memorial Général Émile Lemonnier
This plaque commemorates Général Émile Lemonnier, commander of the 3e Brigade de la Division du Tonkin. After his capture by the Japanese, he was beheaded on 10 March 1945, because he twice refused to sign the total capitulation.
