War Memorial Lisle-en-Rigault Church

This memorial (Monument aux Morts) against the church commemorates the residents of Lisle-en-Rigault who gave their lives in the First World War and the Second World War and the war in Indochina (1946-1954).

A plaque commemorates Sister Marie-André (1879-1945). On 27 August 1944, she contributed to the cancellation of the execution of 20 hostages and the destruction of the village.
