Belgian War Graves Oostwinkel

The churchyard of Oostwinkel contains a field of honour with 10 Belgian burials of the First World War, one of them unidentified, and 19 Belgian burials of the Second World War.

The churchyard of Oostwinkel also contains the collective grave of two resistance fighters who were executed by the Germans during the Second World War. It concerns: LAMBERT Henri, executed at Rieme on 29 June 1943 and POPPE Albert, executed at Rieme on 26 August 1943.
