War Memorial Covasna

This monument was inaugurated on May 9th 1973 and was made by sculptor Theodor Ionescu. It is also referred to as "The Liberator Monument". The statue of an infantryman with rifle and oak branch is placed on a square prism. On a marble tablet in Romanian has been placed the text "Eternal glory to the heroes of the Romanian army".
