War Memorial Sfantu Gheorghe

This monument was created by sculptor Peter Balogh in commemoration of the Romanian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battles in the surrounding area. It was inaugurated on December 18th 1974.
A bronze statue of a soldier is placed on a cylindric base. The Romanian text that states "Eternal glory to the heroes of the Romanian army" is placed on the base.
