Bruce Castle Museum

In the Bruce Castle Museum is a memorial with the following text:
In Memoriam
Peter Gerald Goodman
Harold David Poluten
Boys of this school who were
mortally wounded by a German rocket
while standing near this spot during
the lunch hour on Thursday March 15th 1945

Firstly, the plaque was located in the Tottenham Grammar School. Next to the memorial lies the nose of a German 250km bomb dropped on Wood Green in 1940. The bomb failed to explode on impact and was dealt with by a bomb disposal unit using a controlled explosion.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
