Russian War Grave Hoves

The churchyard of Hoves contains the grave of a Russian soldier of the Second World War. It concerns KONDRATIW Karl, who was forced to serve in the German Army. He deserted and became a resistance fighter at Hoves. He died in a battle with German troops on 4 September 1944.
