Memorial Battle 17 May 1944
This memorial commemorates 5 resistance fighters, of the groupe Gabriel, premier régiment FTPF Dordogne-Nord, who were killed in action in a fight with the Germans on this location at Bost Laporte on 17 May 1944.
Their names were: Robert Mellet, Louis Delmotte, Fernand Desjean, Guy Pothier and Stanislas Zachiach.
