Memorial Sir Ernest Edward "Weary" Dunlop

This memorial in the Royal Botanic Gardens commemorates Lieutenant Colonel Sir Ernest Edward "Weary" Dunlop (12 July 1907 – 2 July 1993), an Australian surgeon who was renowned for his leadership whilst being held prisoner in the Japanese POW-camp Changi in Singapore during World War II.
