War Memorial London Road Goods Depot

The memorial commemorates 580 men from Manchester London Road Goods Depot who served and names the 87 men killed.

This memorial is a replacement as the orginal was lost in the 1960s during redevelopment of the station.

To the memory of the Manchester employees of the London & North Western railway company who sacrificed their lives in the service of their country during the Great War and as a grateful tribute to all those who served.

Those named here were originally commemorated on the London road goods depot memorial

We will remember them
