This memorial is dedicated to the residents of Hartlepool who have died in wars between 1919 and 1967.

Dedicated to the Memory of the Citizens, Servicemen and Servicewomen of the Borough of Hartlepool who gave their lives in Conflict and War during the years from 1919 to 1967 (names)

This memorial also commemorates the servicemen and civilians killed in the First or Second World Wars.

To these unconquered dead who fell in the Great War and in grateful appreciation of those who shared its dangers
