War Memorial St. Oswalds Church Ashbourne

This memorial within the St. Oswalds Church commemorates the four residents of Ashbourne (Ashburne) who gave their lives in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).

There are also separate plaques dedicated to:

Lieutenant Edward Bainbrigge who gave his life at Sebastopol on 4 April 1855 in the Crimean War.

Lieutenant Richard John Jelf, who gave his life on 2 June 1900 in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
