Soldiers: MERTENS Romaan, killed in Houtem on August 18, 1914; DEBOECK Karel, died in Opwijk on September 27, 1914; BORREMANS Nestor, killed in Diksmuide on August 2, 1915; DENEYER Ernest, died in De Panne on May 19, 1915; ROOSENS Frans, killed in Boezinge on September 18, 1916; WAYEMBERGH Emiel, died in Passendale on September 28, 1918; OST Petrus, died in Avrigny (F) on November 7, 1918.
Citizens: JANSSENS Victor, deported, died in Charleroi on February 28, 1917; JACOBS Victor, deported, died in Liège on February 24, 1917, DIERICKX Raymond, hit by a bomb in Sint-Pieters-Kapelle on November 9, 1918.
