Crash Site B-25D-1 Mitchell 41-30561
B-25D-1 Mitchell # 41-30561 was ditched in sea to the northeast of Cape Moem on 16 October 1943. The entire crew was captured. Three members were executed on Kairiru Island and the two officers send to Rabaul. They were executed on 4-5 March 1944 during the Tunnel Hill Massacre.
