Alfred Wright is commemorated on the gravestone of his parents. He has no known grave, and is also commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.

Also of Alfred their son and beloved husband of Isabella Wright of Thornaby Killed in action in France April 25. 1918. Aged 38 years.
