Monument Agli Alpini

This monument is situated at the Piazza Ferdinando in Savoia at Peschiera del Garda. It commemorates the Italian Alpini troops. Three decorated servicemen are mentioned separately on a plaque:

From World War 1:
- Major Felice Chiarle of the 3rd mountain artillery regiment, recipient of the Medaglia d’Oro.
- Lieutenant Arnaldo Cacciatori, recipient of the Medaglia d’ Argento.

From World War 2 (Eastern Front):
- Chaplain Vittoria Tonidandel of the 5th Alpini regiment, recipient of the Medaglia di Bronzo.
