Shipwreck Kikuzuki (Kikuzuki Nr. 23)

The Japanese destroyer Kikuzuki was severely damaged by American dive bombers on 4 May 1942. It was towed by Toshi Maru No. 3 to Nggela Sule island, but sank the next day in Halavo Bay. The U.S. Navy raised and towed the wreck to Purvis Bay and partly scrapped it. The wreck still lies in the bay in shallow water.
