St Martin's Chapel within Wells Cathedral is dedicated to the Men of Somerset who died in both World Wars.
"ABOVE ST CALIXTUS CHAPEL: REMEMBER THE MEN OF SOMERSET WHO IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM ABOVE ST MARTIN'S CHAPEL: DIED FOR GOD AND COUNTRY 1914 - 1918 AND 1939 - 1945 PLAQUE: RECONDITIONED AS A MEMORIAL TO THE MEN OF SOMERSET WHO FELL IN THE WAR 1914 - 1918"
Within the chapel are Books of Remembrance.
