Mass grave Soviet Soldiers Solov'evo

An important bridgehead of the Red Army was established at the village of Solov'evo in 1941. The village and the nearby bridgehead were scene of heavy fighting from July to August 1941. The Red Army suffered about 50.000 to 100.000 casualties at the fighting for Solov'evo.

The majority of them are buried in this simple mass grave.
