Grave of Alan Richard Hill VC
In St. Michael and All Angels Churchyard is the grave of Alan Richard Hill VC (1859-1944). He was awarded the Victoria Cross for an action on 28 January 1881 during the Battle of Laing's Nek in the First Boer War (1880-1881).
