Statue of General James Barry Munnik Hertzog
This memorial commemorates General James Barry Munnik Hertzog (1866-1942), better known as Barry Hertzog or J.B.M. Hertzog. He was a Boer general in the South-African War (Anglo-Boer War). From 1924 to 1939 he was Prime Minister of the Union of South Africa.
