Statue of Francis William Reitz Jr.

This memorial commemorates Francis William Reitz Jr. (1844-1934). He was an important politician of the Boer during the South-African War (Anglo-Boer War). Later on, he became the first president of the Senate of the Union of South Africa, the forerunner of the modern South African state.
